This tray was tested on a 2g DSM, but it's intention is to fit in any car with a rear strut bar. Some minor modification might be required to do so.

This is my solution for a rear-mounted battery tray. This features threaded standoffs that connect a rear strut bar to a lower mounting point on the chassis. A battery tray is mounted on these threaded rods. All connections are enhanced by 3D printed 95A TPU parts. This solution is effectively connecting your rear strut bar with another chassis point, so the bushings are for reducing NVH. Plus batteries aren't fond of vibrations. The battery also sits on TPU bushings, the and tray is connected to the rods with a metal bracket and bushings.

The battery tray is created out of aluminum 2020. It's light, but strong enough to support a battery. All joints are designed in the most favorable force direction for the 2020 sliding nuts. The great opportunity with 2020, is that it's entirely modifiable. If you don't like a certain aspect on the tray, you can change it easily! Want to add-on an aspect? It's as simple as bolting it into the t-slots. I'm going to be using this to my advantage. I will be releasing "expansion packs" for this rear-mounted battery tray. Perhaps a "road trip expansion" that features an add-on tray with all the tools I would need for a long road trip? Or maybe an "enclosure expansion" for track days? The driving force is to relieve the driver of worrying about potential issues while driving their project car; the first being an unsecure battery.

I was thinking about a big complicated solution for the battery tie-down, but this strap worked amazing! It's a noticeably higher-quality strap, with a metal latch and loops. It's great for installing or removing the battery easily.

I will be making an installation tutorial video for this tray soon. It's as simple as drilling 2 holes in the strut bar, and 4 in the chassis to connect the threaded rods. The tray will come assembled, it's simply about putting all the bits and pieces into the car.
